Area Inspector's Observations

As can be seen from the figures presented this has been a quiet reporting period.

As intimated to the Chair, Mrs Buchan, on 23 November, Richard Kinghan will be on paternity leave until January 2008. Sergeant Craig and I will ensure that Kingswells receives regular attention in Richard's absence.

I have referred the issue concerning the indiscriminate abandonment of wheelie bins on footpaths to the relevant Aberdeen City Council department and am awaiting a response.

I would seek to remind the Community, that the efficiency of our processes is dependent upon the prompt reporting of incidents and the provision of as much information as possible. Please ensure that you exploit all possible lines of communication to get your message through to us.

        A crime is in progress or the offender has been recently disturbed,

        A road accident with injuries has occurred, or
