Regarding the traffic lights at the Lang Stracht roundabout.

It would have been more sense to put another lane in to turn left, as is the way when heading West from Woodend.  Thus all that would have been needed would be a pedestrian / cycle crossing, on the Lang Stracht branch, to cater for the vast amount of pedestrians and cyclists who use this route.

£114000 for a set of lights that cause more congestion than it alleviates.

They could at least turn them off outwith peak travel periods.
