The proposals for the development plan were leaked to the Evening Express. KCC have confirmed with the ACC planners that the proposals have not been totally finalised yet, but the version of the plan that will be completed next week will not vary significantly from the version shown in the EE.
The slides that were presented at the public meeting on 8th July are shown here.
The Development Plan will control the development of the Aberdeen and Shire up to 2030.
Your views on how this development should take place are important to the Community Council and Aberdeen City Council.
Please spend a few moments completing this questionnaire. The result will allow KCC to represent your views in future, and will allow ACC to plan appropriate development for Aberdeen.
Development proposed by developers. This is really a developers' wish list at the moment. Aberdeen City council will be scoring the developments against some planning criteria in the next few months and will issue what ACC thinks are the most suitable developments in September 09. At this time there will be a public sonsultations period of about 6 weeks where you can submit your views.
A series of open evenings to discuss proposals for the future development of areas of Aberdeen is to be held next month.
Developers have been invited to attend the meetings to discuss their development options with members of the public.
More than 120 development options for thousands of new homes
city-wide have been received by the city council for sites across the

£100million.
Thousands of homes could be built on land now owned by
the council at sites across Aberdeen after the local authority revealed
it was preparing to put them forward for rezoning in the city's next
local development plan.
One property expert said the combined value of the
properties would be more than £100million if they were all granted
planning consent.
