My partner sent an email to the school, the police and to one of the community councillors. Surprisingly the only one NOT to reply was the school. Shows how concerned they are for their neighbours.
As you can see, from the picture, these two concerned parents are blocking acces for emergeny and local council vehicles, not to mention making it a nightmare to gain access to to our homes. I would dearly like to lift these vehicles and crush them, but that might be viewed as a bit of an over reaction. Ahh one can but dream……….

We always leave sufficient room just in case an emergency vehicle has to enter our street.
From the image above, anyone either entering or exiting should have no issues as long as they are driving at a speed that is save and they can stop in the distance they can see to be clear, ie, basic driving skills.

Speed has absolutely no relevance to the post. I defy anyone to get anything larger than a car through the gap, therefore that rules out emergency vehicles which tend to be HGV sized.

Safe – sorry, spelling

My neighbour and I often park our cars in a similar fashion.
It slows down a couple of residents that seem to think its ok to drive at speeds that are not suitable for a residential area.
Unless there is not enough room to drive between the cars, no offence has been committed.

The car in the background is parked on a junction, and that is dangerous. I think this is an offence.
I agree with Alan's view that together these cars cause an obstruction to larger vehicles including emergency services. Generally parking around the school by people dropping off their kids is not good. Drivers can be thoughtless and disrespectful to people living in the area.
Do you and your neighbour consider whether emergency services can do their work in your street?
It would be interesting to know what the police said about this.
Please note that the articles on this forum are the views of their author, and not those of KCC
KCC have obscured the number plates.

Nothing as yet, but they have the uncensored pics, so we will see. I'm not holding my breath…..

The police have their numbers unless, you managed to censor them as well.
I think this is the first time I have had to censor something. We pride ourselves in the fact we do not change articles posted on this site.
The reason for the change is that the car in the foreground would be fine if they were the first car to park. If this was the case then KCC would be exposed to a lawsuit.
A good point was made with the rest of the article, and the police have the numbers so there was no need for the numbers to be displayed here.

Both cars were parked inconsideratly, if not illegally and to have their registration numbers there should make no difference.
Far better to identify the persons responsible.
The photo does not clearly show that the white car did anything wrong – in my opinion.
